The future success of the latest grocery industry trend—home delivery and pickup services—will rest on the strategic development of a cost-effective distribution system, and that development will depend ENTIRELY on the continuous and consistent GROWTH OF SALES in an expanding number of markets.
For Southeastern Delivery, this has been the business plan from the beginning. And while new ideas and minor modifications have enhanced the process of developing the sales growth, the focus on establish Independent operations centers (Hubs) in viable markets has remained unchanged.
We now have operations centers, where groceries are being picked up and delivered daily, in Pensacola, Orlando, Jacksonville, Sarasota and Lake City in Florida; in Mountain Home, AR; in Knoxville, TN; in Middlefield, OH; and in Houston, TX. In addition, we are less than 60 days from opening Hubs in Amarillo, TX; in Jonesboro, AR; in Nashville, TN; in Riverside, CA; in Birmingham, AL; and in Chicago, IL.
Add to this list the formal sales presentations that have been made and favorably received in Austin and Dallas, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Mountain Home, ID; Baltimore, MD; Phoenix, AZ; Detroit, MI; Asheville, NC; Salt Lake City, UT; and Honolulu, HI.
All of our current resources and personnel are focused on building the framework and developing the programming support that will move this growth in sales and services forward and create the momentum in actual sales volume that will lead to a strong, cost-effective distribution network with every step we take together with our sales force and our growing customer base.
While other talk of spending large amounts of capital building the distribution system, we are steadily building the OUTLETS, the SALES, and the SERVICE for the customers that will help determine the distribution locations that will best serve our customers WHERE THEY ARE.
While others speak of lowering the cost of products from a huge distribution system without any sales in the pipeline, we are steadily building the PIPELINE, filling it with sales from customers, and creating a future for everyone that truly WILL lower the cost of products and services for everyone.
We have successfully ignited the fire of interest in building sales in dozens and dozens of markets all across the country—from small, sleepy towns and hamlets to major metropolitan areas like Houston, Chicago, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.
With a well-designed business-building incentive program presented to active network marketers all across the country, we expect the pace of Hub openings to quicken. In the meantime, we are developing systems, programs, and processes at Headquarters that will allow us to smoothly accommodate and support this growth.
We are also developing strong marketing programs that have already been introduced into existing Hub markets with great success! Each time a new Hub opens in the country, we will follow it into town with a strong business-building splash within just a few days of Grand Opening……….and the marketing package has been so well designed that it couples introducing the new business, explaining what is new and different about the service, and then promoting the trials with discounts, savings, and local market incentives!
We are providing opportunity and support for a local small business that takes full advantage of the trend and concept of grocery pick up and delivery.
We are forming strong local relationships with suppliers and retailers who appreciate the additional business. We are bring additional steady employment to dozens of areas throughout the country.
We are even implementing programs that provide non-profit organizations with a means to work with Southeastern Delivery and our local Hubs to create much-needed revenue for the organization through our Affinity Program.
